In short 2025 was an incredibly busy year for me.
This year I really pushed myself get the best images i could with the opportunites i had.

RIDDLE IN THE MIST
A little horror spoof about a two travelers who meet on a long winding road.
The film highlights issue to do with safe driving while on the road, and domestic abuse.

My job as a dp is to ensure the artistic and visual goals of a project are met. People have certain standards for quality, and therefore knowing how to produce consistent-looking content over a wide range of budgets is important.

This advert wasn't planned for whats so ever. I remember the weather looked really good one day, and I needed to do some camera tests so I went to Kew Gardens. Sometimes you just get lucky you know, and find things you could never recreate.
Riddle In The Mist.
Directed by Son Phan
This film i had a hand in producing, so i definately had an input with the locations on this one. It was quite a challange to make at the time, we had no money and a very ambitious script. However, we did have the Alexa Mini, Cooke S4i's and small amount of lights. The amazing crew cast and crew made it made the whole thing possible with the 3 day night ext and outdoor greenscreen.
American Wedding

Can't say much about this one as shooting will continue in 2026. However I do have some stills and bts.
Fireworks In Soho

This one I thought my operating was very clean on, I was pulling focus at around T2.1- T2.8, even for the close ups which was on a 75mm while operating. The film was mostly handheld and I had a good gaffer triggering the fireworks throughout the scenes. Plus we got to shoot in China Town!!
This Time I Mean It

This film had a really nice concept, its a time loop drama about a young couple going through a break up.
The timeloop aspect was the main challange because continutiy was essensial, that meant the lighting had to be the same throughout the film. It was also quite repetitive to shoot, almost like we were in a timeloop ourselves.
Even Lords Freeze at Deaths Embrace

An exciting crime drama about a gangster who's boss wants kill him. This film I really tried to tell a story with the lighting and I luckly had a very good operator working with me for most of the shoot.
The Poet, the Writer and the Artist

This one is quite an important film for me. I think this project I really started to trust my judgement as a DP.
We had only about 3 lights and a dingy air bnb, but sometimes you can just make it work.
Daddy Issues

Another gangster flick, I wanted this one to seem dark and foreboding. There is a good mix of tensions and elements of comedy, but the main objective was to capture the intensity of the actors performance.
Blue Monday Sports

I had really wanted to do a Nike inspired commercial, and the opportunity came along. This was an Ad i did for an influencer, who was starting his own sports line "Blue Monday Sports".
Flicker

I remember asking a group of film students in Starbucks if they wanted to shoot a film. Someone else went on to direct and this was the first project I shot as only a DOP.
The lighting plan was actually pretty simple but it worked really well, especially when we had to recreate a flickering lightbulb.
The Baseline Test (From Blade Runner 2049)
My first time teaching cinematography. I was given the opportunity to teach students at Richmond American University about Lighting, as a class we made this short.
I could only use the lights provided and the mini studio they use as a classroom, but it was a great chance to teach!
